E-Sea Riders Puch Maxi S | MOPED OF THE DAY

Puch Maxi S

Puch Maxi S from E-Sea Riders Moped Team (https://www.facebook.com/ESeaRiders/).  The E-sea Riders are a group of enthusiastic moped fans who participate in the Carbage Run.  Carbage run is a 5-day road trip through Europe in an “old piece of junk”. In 2013 they successfully completed the first edition of the Carbage Run (Moped edition) and finished in Prague without any significant problems. Successfully reached Edinburgh in 2014. They have continued to participate since.

The team rides Puch Maxi mopeds in the Carbage Run.  So it’s fitting they restored a Maxi.  This is a complete restoration.  They tore the moped all the way down and had the frame and wheels powder coated.  The engine has mild upgrades for a boost in performance while maintaining reliability.  Seeing how they run these mopeds on a long road trip, I’m confident they know what a Puch engine needs to maintain its reliability.
