MOPED OF THE DAY | Chopped out Peugeot Maxi

This is a bit of an older build but since my brother and I started building a Chopped out moped Charlie of the Buzzards’ Maxi was some sweet inspiration.  Charlie built or chopped out a Peugeot Maxi.  Why a Peugeot Maxi? You will see why if you don’t already know.

CHOPPED MAXI APPEARANCE

The Puch Maxi frame has been stretched up with the addition of another Puch Maxi frame.  Puch Maxi forks are custom made to fit the extended length of the Maxi frame. Some Jawa ape hanger style bars add to the choppers height. This build only sports one brake. A rear disk brake, custom made to fit and the way it works is very creative. The paint and decals look original and the donor frame used for the stretch seems to be the same color as well. Bullet headlight with club decal completes the front of the moped.  The seat on the moped have changed a few times but in the end, it still sports a slammed seat.  Spoke wheels, the front with a knobby tire, the rear with a standard tire.

ENGINE

Here is the Peugeot portion of the Chopped out Peugeot Maxi.  This Puch Maxi build has been fitted with a Peugeot 103 variated engine.
